25 Facts About Enseo

We’re marking our 25th anniversary with 25 facts that tell the story of Enseo. From our roots in Texas to the innovations shaping tomorrow’s guest experience, explore how Enseo grew from a tech startup to a trusted partner in hospitality.

From the Beginning

  1. Enseo was founded in Richardson, Texas in 2000 as a small team of, entrepreneurs, visionaries, and engineers, who had a vision to advance the hospitality technology industry.
  2. Enseo began as an engineering firm focused on OEM and digital signage hardware, which took the hospitality industry by storm. Enseo hardware became an industry staple and standard that pushed the boundaries of technology forward.
  3. In 2013, Enseo became a hospitality technology integrator, as well. We started with just one floor at JW Marriott Essex House New York.

In 2020, Enseo relocated to Plano, Texas.

Company Firsts

4. Hotel Channel Guides

Enseo launched the first Interactive Program Guide for hotels. It was the first time that hotel guests could browse through channel programming on the TV just like they could at home.

The Enseo apps TV screen, displaying Netflix, Max, YouTube, iHeart Radio, and Pandora.

5. Hotel Streaming Apps

Enseo was the first hospitality technology provider to partner and license with Netflix, which officially brought Netflix into hotel rooms on along with several other popular streaming apps.
