Enseo Earns Wi-Fi Alliance Certification

HD3300D and Enseo Radio Module Now Certified

Richardson, TX, – May 26, 2016 – Enseo, the fastest growing hospitality integrator, recently earned the Wi-Fi Alliance industrial certification for its Wi-Fi Access Point included in the HD3300D Set Back Box (SBB) and Enseo Radio Module (ERM). The Wi-Fi Alliance certification recognizes the HD3300D and ERM as having met or exceeded industry standards for Wi-Fi™ devices in security, interoperability, and performance.

Wi-Fi Alliance is the governing agency for interoperability among Wi-Fi devices from different providers. The ERM, in combination with the Enseo HD3300D SBB, forms an access point integrating guest room entertainment with guest internet access. This enables hotel guests to take advantage of wireless internet, Bluetooth® technology, and their own guest-carried content. The ERM also supports Enseo’s patented Home Away from Home™ which creates a personal area network in each guest’s room.  The Enseo Wi-Fi solution is compatible with any infrastructure, and when used in conjunction with Enseo’s iCu™ IP over Coax technology, it can also deliver perfect Wi-Fi over Coax using    DOCSIS 3.0.

“Enseo is thrilled to receive Wi-Fi Alliance Certification which solidifies Enseo’s Wi-Fi product as a robust and reliable solution for all our customers. The opportunity to add a Personal Area Network in each guest room without re-cabling properties is a tremendous value and benefit to hoteliers,” adds David Simpson, Enseo’s EVP of Product Strategy.

Consistency and reliability for guest use was a significant motivator for Enseo. The Wi-Fi Alliance certification testing validates that the Device Under Test (DUT), in this case Enseo’s HD3300D and ERM, meets interoperability and program requirements. Enseo’s Access Point successfully interoperated with all “real-world” equipment in testing to receive certification.  This certification states clearly and without any doubt that guests in an Enseo enabled hotel can reliably access their content from any of their devices.

“I am thrilled with my Enseo enabled Wi-Fi properties. I have found them to be reliable and our guest experience in these rooms is fantastic. As an owner, it is my job to find the best technology for my guests at the best price, and I believe this is Enseo for in-room Wi-Fi. I have used it at multiple branded properties and continue to be convinced this is the right answer for my properties,” said Laurent Bortoluzzi, VP of IT for LXR Resorts.
