“We are absolutely seeing an increase in investment technology by the big hotel brands,” Enseo Founder and CEO Vanessa Ogle says. “And a lot of this investment is around areas of safety— for employee safety.”
Last year, Lovejoy brought the Enseo MadeSafe device to St. Francis. It’s a button worn around every staff member’s neck. If there’s an emergency, they hold the button down which sends out an alert.
Ogle says that those first few years were difficult, and that it was a challenge to get those in the industry to take her seriously. Rather than discouraging her, though, these doubters inspired Ogle to develop her business and grow her company, which, in turn, bolstered her confidence.
“We’ve created a platform that protects — a series of cloud-based management tools interacting with various hardware devices, software applications and content.”
Last September, 17 hotel brands joined AHLA in announcing the 5-Star Promise. Since that time, the industry has made significant progress, and AHLA launched a program for member companies to offer discounts with ESD providers such as Enseo.
Honey Grove ISD invested in a new security system called “MadeSafe.” “When we can give accurate information faster to first responders, we save lives. Honey Grove is really jumping ahead of a problem in the market,” says CEO of Enseo, Vanessa Ogle.
